Coral sponsorship:

This great organization brings new life to the endangered coral reefs, which, according to current knowledge, will have died 95% of all corals by 2050. To prevent this, many scientists are concerned with protection programs that they design and implement. One of them are the CORAL GARDENERS in Moorea / French Polynesia. I adopted corals there. Award: "Bat-friendly house"
In 2019 I rescued a sweet little bat (small noctule) together with NABU, which unfortunately got lost in our cellar and was already very weak. The little one, we called "Bärbel", was lovingly spiced up and released back into the wild & we noticed that she lives with her friends in the fireplace with us! Super sweet! We saw her again in 2020! NABU does a great job and almost everything is voluntary, but always full of passion!

Established in 1977, Sea Shepherd Conservation Society (SSCS) is an international non-profit, marine wildlife conservation organization. Our mission is to end the destruction of habitat and slaughter of wildlife in the world's oceans in order to conserve and protect ecosystems and species.
Lobster sponsorship Helgoland:
I did my marine biology internship at the Alfred Wegener Institute Helgoland and when I saw years later that they were committed to the highly endangered lobster species ´Homarus gammarus´ in order to increase the population again, I took part and took on lobster sponsorships until they were released into the wild. I hope that my godchildren are well in Helgoland ... please don't eat lobster!
Dolphin sponsorship:
The great organization "Society for the rescue of the dolphins e.V." has been committed to "preserving biodiversity in the oceans"
(preventing extinction, protecting ghost nets, habitats, ...) since 1991! I sponsored 2 dolphins for one year.
